We are a meetup for COED pick soccer, our group is growing at a fast rate. We are currently looking for sponsors to support group expenses

We have a meetup.com group established for people who love the sport of soccer and have a desire to play no matter their age, sex, race or nationality. We currently have 49 members and we are growing rapidly.

What we can offer to our sponsor:

    • Through ‘Pick up Soccer Group’
    • Various parks around Düsseldorf where ‘Potential market’ for sponsor exists.
    • At indoor and cage soccer arenas.
  2. Sales
    • Our own members are the market.
    • Various groups playing around us in parks.
  3. Evaluate new product samples
    • An example, the group can evaluate new cleats and outfits being developed by company.
    • Fill out evaluation sheets.
    • Rate products and provide honest feedback.
  4. Provide first hand market surveys
    • Since we are the buyers, we can provide information on our needs as customers.
    • Gives you a market sample to evaluate needs.

What are our needs?

Simple, €500 a month. The amount will pay for:

1)      Publicity banner: a big banner that we can use to show sponsor and group name.

2)      Increase meetup.com group space: to accommodate extra members by paying extra 5 dollars a month.

3)      Book arenas: we host 2 events a week one sand football and one outdoor. It costs about 70 euros per place twice a week.

4)      Buy shirts: We would love to have your name on our jerseys!

The objective of the group is to play soccer for fun!

We play at different locations all over the city on days that are most convenient to the members of the group, every week.

Group Demographics:

  1. The average age of the group is 30 years, the minimum being 20 and the maximum around 40.
  2. The group is international with members from all over the world: USA, England, Italy, Germany, Chile, Mexico, Peru and India to name a few.
  3. The group is Coed therefore consisting of both female and male members.

 

Current Growth:

I am currently paying for a group limit of 50 people and we are at 49 members within 3 months and constantly growing. We also have a WhatsApp group with members who are not even listed in the Meetup group.

 

Potential:

There is big potential here for more people to be part of the group but not everyone has meetup. Therefore I want to promote our group to people who are around us while we play. In parks, arenas and indoor fields. There are always people who seem interested to play with us but are hesitant. Part of the hesitance could be that we don’t have a banner saying come join us.

Goals:

I have a desire to promote my group to the public, people around us when we play, and expand the group limit in Meetup. This will open a window for more members and expand the group at a much faster rate. This in turn opens a bigger window for me to promote Puma products.
