Australia Hockey Player, Recently been selected in 2024. Relocating from Melbourne to Perth to achieve my dream of going to an Olympic Games in 2028. Hockey isn't a high paying sport, growing my profile and getting support is huge for us athletes.

I am a highly motivated and driven individual, moving to Perth as a 20 year old to achieve my dream of playing Hockey at the highest level, to being selected in the Australia team at 21. I have played hockey my whole life, within this, Hockey players do not receive the sufficient funding to solely focus on Hockey.  They must work to earn a living and sustain the requirements of an elite athlete. Without funding, living becomes incredibly hard, being away from family & friends is another factor but diet is huge. 

I have lead teams in my junior years, playing for Melbourne since 19, playing under 21 Australia since 19 & playing for Victoria since 9 years of age.

Without support, Hockey players find it incredibly hard to meet the demands of elite sport and being financially stable
